Because printer cartridges have value and can be recycled there is an opportunity to donate the value of them to charities. So for example we recycle printer cartridges for Microsoft. Microsoft could choose to donate the value of their recycleables to their favorite charity- lets say childrens hospital. So say quarterly microsofts’ value of its recycleables is $500.00. Cartridge Recycle Center would send a check to childrens hospital in the name of Microsoft.
Charities is a very large need in this country - many people rely on charities to survive for food, clothing and or shelter. Cartridges are something that every business uses and so there is the potential for every business to recycle and donate the value of their recycleables to charity. There are millions of businesses and millions of charities - no better way to generate money for the needy. The business donates without paying anything out of pocket so most are open to recycling when the good of the effort goes to charity. We also work with many goodwills across the country. So we send thousands of dollars monthly to Goodwill for the cartridges that are donated to them from homes and businesses - Goodwill then uses our payments to create more jobs - another win win for recycling printer cartridges.
The value of printer cartridges is one of the highest return of recycleables of consumer items.
